About

Welcome, I am a communications professional with wide a range of experience.

I have experience in strategic communications, editorial storytelling, publication development, content coordination, photography, and marketing communications. My work brings together writing, editing, visual communication, and project coordination to help organizations communicate clearly and effectively across print and digital platforms.

I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Media & Communications from Hunter College and have continued to build on that foundation through professional experience in communications, publishing, editorial development, and marketing communications.

My experience includes feature writing, publication development, website content, social media communications, photography, editorial planning, and content strategy. I have coordinated publication redesigns, developed editorial calendars, managed creative workflows, and collaborated with writers, photographers, designers, organizational leaders, and community partners to deliver consistent, audience-focused communications.

Working across editorial, visual, and digital communications has given me the ability to translate ideas across multiple platforms while maintaining a consistent voice, clear messaging, and strong visual standards.

I approach every project with professionalism, curiosity, and a commitment to clear, purposeful communication.

Professional Experience includes, but is not limited to:

REBRAND

Led a successful rebrand of an established private publication and established a digital presence within a highly targeted market.

Strategy

Redesigned logo, established brand voice and created overall brand guidelines. Strategically narrowed the brand's values, mission and vision to deepen the relationship with the publication's audience, support current business sponsors, and attract new business sponsors. Maintained a strict adherence to guidelines and exceptionally high-quality photography and visual design. Introduced recurring columns based on previous content.

Maintained existing community partnerships while establishing new partnerships aligned with the brand's updated mission and vision. Led photography and design direction.

Social media growth strategy leads with engagement and social proof to a highly defined target audience as opposed to market saturation to increase followers.

Key Performance Indicators of the successful rebrand include the following:

  • Attracted highly desirable interviewees for cover stories with a 6 month+ waitlist shifting from a month to month strategy.

  • The net worth of the businesses that participate in advertising sponsorships increased, shifted from service based industries to luxury services ( e.g., head spa, wig parlor, premiere (aesthetic) medical practice, fur salon, designer fashion and luxury apparel, premium interior design consultant, among others, including insurance and wealth management businesses).

  • Established digital presence, growing META accounts with 0 followers to monthly engagement of 10k+ views per month. (FB + IG accounts < 12 months, < 1,000 followers)

BRAND RE-DEVELOPMENT

Created a brand and then redeveloped the same brand as the business was navigating changes; transitioning from the original a brick-and-mortar location business model to a mobile business model.

Strategy

Strong communication was a key factor in keeping clients and customers informed of the changes. Updates were provided throughout the transition via signs posted at the business, email blasts and social media.

Key Performance Indicators of the successful transition of the business model:

It is important to note that the business was very active at its brick-and-mortar location with 4-5 public events and 10+ private events monthly.

  • 5 years post mobile transition, social media following has been steadily maintained, the change of the business model has not negatively impacted digital presence.

  • Email open rate has increased from an already high average 25% open rate to an impressive 40% open rate.

  • 100% retention rate of off-site clients.

  • 50% increase (of full client base) in acquiring new clients.
